Born from years of experience skippering in the South of Italy, My English Skipper combines all that is best in a sailing holiday in this area. You will sail with a friendly and professional English (or, more precisely, British, Aussi, Kiwi or US) skipper who will not only “drive” you around from one place to another, but he will also act as a guide, taking you to visit all the places of interest.
You will be in contact with your skipper long before the holiday date so that you can organize the itinerary (booking marinas in advance – you won’t get a place in July and August if you don’t!), any excursions, additional services like transfers, hotels, shopping for the boat, and even renting villas if you have extra time to spend in Italy.
Your boat will be better equipped than a standard charter boat with free Wifi, icemaker and barbeque. With his local knowledge, the skipper will take you to all the best bays and inlets to swim and chill and, when in port, he can take you to the best restaurants. Our priority check-in only takes 15 minutes and with your shopping already done and on board, you will be off on your cruise within 30 minutes of reaching the marina!
Experienced sailors, please note: our skippers are more than happy to let you helm as much as you like when out of port and, being very experienced both in cruising and racing to European Championship level, they will certainly be able to give you a few tips! What’s more, with the large discounts we receive on marina fees and the money you will save by being taken to the best value-for-money restaurants, the skipper will almost pay for himself!
So just arrive at the airport and worry about enjoying yourselves: we will take care of the rest!
